EFT (Euro Flight Training) is located in Hampshire, UK, and we are an approved DTO and ATO flying school offering comprehensive aviation training, from beginner to advanced levels, including private and commercial pilot courses.

Private Pilot Licence

The first step for any pilot's journey. Learn to fly a single-engine aircraft and gain your PPL. This course consists of a minimum of 40 hours of flight time.

We offer a competenacy based (CB-IR) course for both Single Engine (SE) and Multi Engine (ME) instrument ratings. The CB-IR course means that we may be able to credit a significant amount of prior instrument flight time.

IR(R)/IMC Rating (Restricted)

Radiotelephony Licence (FROTL)

Improve your radio communication skills and get the radio telephony operator licence required for a pilot's licence. Your FROTL test will be conducted in a real aircraft simulator to provide a realistic experience.

Versatile Aircraft Fleet

Our fleet of aircraft is designed to provide a wide range of training options, from basic to advanced levels, including private and commercial pilot courses.

With our Diamond DA-40NG/TDI and DA-42NG/TDI fleet, students have modern Garmin G1000 instruments that are perfectly replicated in our simulators. We also have numerous Cessna 172, Piper PA-28 and a Aero Subaru Fuji available for PPL training.

As a Diamond Authorized Service Center in house, we maintain our fleet to the highest standards - keeping every aircraft ready and reliable for training.

CAA Certified Diamond Simulators

We are the only UK flight school to have both DA-40NG and DA-42NG Diamond manufactured FNPT II CAA certified simulators. Depending on the course, these simulators enable students to log time in the simulators to reduce the amount of time required in the actual aircraft and reduce costs.

We are located at Lee-on-the-Solent Airport, Hampshire, UK spanning across 2 large hangars and a separate dedicated building housing our simulators. Our hangars are equipped with 7 briefing rooms, student lounge and all the facilities required to provide a comfortable and professional learning environment. We also operate a satellite facility at Southampton Airport.
